History of East Granby

East Granby, Connecticut, is a charming small town with a rich history that dates back to the early 17th century. Originally part of Windsor, the area that is now East Granby was first settled by Europeans in 1664. It was known as the "Turkey Hills" due to the large flocks of wild turkeys that roamed the hills.
